HIGH FIVE 5K is a free, monthly community run/walk/jog event taking place every month from July to December 2026 across parks in Surrey, Delta, and Langley. Unlike traditional running events that cost $60–$100 and give medals only to finishers, HIGH FIVE 5K gives every participant their medal at the START LINE — because showing up at 5 AM is already the win.
No registration. No entry fee. No race. Just community, movement, and a sunrise. This is for the auntie who has never run before, the uncle who wants to try, the newcomer who wants to belong, and the seasoned runner who wants connection.

How It Works
Day of Event
- Show up at the park at 4:40 AM sharp
- Receive your MEDAL at the start line — you're ready to start up sharp at 5 AM, which makes you a finisher
- Join the group warm-up (5 minutes)
- Walk, jog, or run the 5 KM loop — self-paced, your way
- Return to the start/finish point
- Enjoy refreshments and community connection
